THERAPEUTIC GOODS ACT 1989 - SECT 42EA

    A person contravenes this section if:

  (a)   the person does any of the following:

  (i)   manufactures goods in Australia;

  (ii)   supplies goods in Australia;

  (iii)   imports goods into Australia;

  (iv)   exports goods from Australia; and

  (b)   the goods are therapeutic goods; and

  (c)   the goods are counterfeit.

Maximum civil penalty:

  (a)   for an individual--5,000 penalty units; and

  (b)   for a body corporate--50,000 penalty units.
