CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 131.005

  (1)   This Part (other than Subpart   131.Z) applies in relation to Part   131 aircraft.

  (2)   A Part   131 aircraft is any of the following:

  (a)   a manned free balloon;

  (b)   a hot air airship.

  (3)   Subpart   131.Z applies in relation to a tethered gas balloon that:

  (a)   is equipped to carry one or more persons; and

  (b)   is permanently tethered.
