Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated RegulationsCASA or the authorised person or approved design organisation may refuse to grant a modification/repair design approval for the design without further consideration if CASA or the authorised person or approved design organisation is satisfied that the design would constitute a major change in a type design.
Note: A person may apply to CASA for a supplemental type certificate
for the approval of the design of a major change to a type certificated
aircraft, aircraft engine or propeller--see Subpart 21.E.
