Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) An individual must not approve a proposed variation to an approved maintenance program for an aircraft unless the requirements mentioned in regulation 42.990 are met.
Offence for breach of obligation
(2) An individual commits an offence if:
(a) he or she approves a proposed variation of an approved maintenance program for an aircraft; and
(b) a requirement mentioned in regulation 42.990 is not met in relation to the approval.
(3) An offence against subregulation (2) is an offence of
strict liability.
