CIVIL AVIATION SAFETY REGULATIONS 1998 - REG 42.385

    If:

  (a)   an approved maintenance organisation is carrying out maintenance on an aeronautical product; and

  (b)   the organisation becomes aware of a major defect in the aeronautical product;

the organisation must report the defect to CASA.

Penalty:   50 penalty units.
