Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) If a certificate of release to service for an aircraft in relation to maintenance carried out on the aircraft is issued on behalf of an approved maintenance organisation, the organisation must ensure that a copy of the certificate is retained for 1 year beginning on the date the certificate is issued.
(2) An offence against subregulation (1) is an offence of strict liability.
