Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) These Regulations are not intended to prevent a person, institution or other body that has rights of custody in relation to a child for the purposes of the Convention from applying to a court if the child is removed to, or retained in, Australia in breach of those rights.
(2) These Regulations are not to be taken as preventing a court from making an order at any time under Part VII of the Act or under any other law in force in Australia for the return of a child.
