Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations(1) The Minister may approve, in writing, for the purposes of this regulation, methods or factors that are to be used to determine the gross value of a superannuation interest the benefits in respect of which are being paid as a pension that is payable for the life of the member spouse.
(2) An approval by the Minister under subregulation (1) is a legislative instrument.
Note: If the Minister approves a method or factors to be used to
determine the gross value of a superannuation interest, the approved method or
factors are to be used to determine the gross value of the interest instead of
the method set out in Schedule 4 to these Regulations--see
subregulation 42(2).
