Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations30.03.1 A person who has been returned as a Member or Senator may file a notice in writing signed by the Member or Senator stating an address for service of a petition under these Rules.
30.03.2 The address for service stated under this rule:
(a) shall be in the State or Territory in which the election was held; and
(b) if the Member or Senator has appointed a solicitor, shall be
the solicitor's place of business and, if the Member or Senator has not
appointed a solicitor, shall be the place of residence of the Member or
Senator.
