HUMAN SERVICES (MEDICARE) REGULATIONS 2017 - REG 35

    A prescribed function of the Chief Executive edicare is t o allocate identification numbers for the purposes of the Health Insurance Act to the following persons in relation to their places of practice:

  ( a )   practitioners;

  ( b )   approved pathology practitioners;

  ( c )   participating midwives;

  ( d )   participating nurse practitioners;

  ( e )   optometrists;

  ( f )   persons providing health services determined under section   3C of that Act.
