Commonwealth Consolidated Regulations Commonwealth Consolidated RegulationsA certificate of approval of the pattern of a measuring instrument that was purported to have been issued by an approving authority in the period starting on 1 October 1999 and ending at the end of 30 June 2004 is taken, for the purposes of these Regulations:
(a) to have been issued in accordance with the requirements of these Regulations as in force when the certificate was purported to have been issued; and
(b) to be a valid certificate.
