(1) A relevant authority may, on application, grant to a person an extinguishing agent handling licence mentioned in column 1 of an item in Table 322, entitling the person to engage in the work described in column 2 of the item.
Note 1: Regulation 313 also applies to an app lication.
Note 2: A person is entitled to apply for any number of licences.
(2) The relevant authority may grant the licence only if the relevant authority is satisfied that:
(a) the person has satisfied the requirements of all of the units of competency determined by the Minister under subregulation (3) for the licence; and
(b) at the time the requirements of each unit of competency are first satisfied by the person, both:
(i) the unit of competency is entered on the National Register (within the meaning of the National Vocational Education and Training Regulator Act 2011 ); and
(ii) the registration of the unit of competency on the National Register has not been cancelled.

| (f) to perform any tests and maintenance on any Fire Detection and Alarm System, including any remote operation panel and actuation and control system that interfaces with or forms part of a gaseous fire extinguishing system; and |

| (g) to perform any tests and maintenance on gaseous agent containers and ancillary equipment connections from containers to manifold and pipework |
4 | Recovery, Reclamation, Fill and Recycling Licence | To recover, reclaim, fill and recycle an extinguishing agent into and from a fire extinguisher and gaseous fire extinguishing system container from and to a bulk agent container |
5 | Warehouse Maintenance Licence | To monitor for leakage stocks of extinguishing agent bulk agent containers in a warehouse and, as needed, to transfer the extinguishing agent from a leaking storage container |
