ABORIGINAL AND TORRES STRAIT ISLANDER COMMISSION ACT 1989 No. 150 of 1989 - SECT 159

159. (1) Subject to subsection (2), a Director holds office for such period,
being at least 1 year but not more than 5 years, as is specified in the
instrument of appointment.

(2) A person who has turned 65 shall not be appointed as a Director and a
person shall not be appointed as a Director for a period that extends beyond
the day on which the person will turn 65.
