AUSTRALIAN BICENTENNIAL AUTHORITY ACT 1980 No. 49 of 1980 - SECT 13

13. (1) The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister but not
otherwise, form, or participate with another person in the formation of, a
company for the purpose of promoting any of the objects of the Authority.

(2) The Authority may, with the approval of the Minister but not otherwise-

   (a)  subscribe for, or otherwise acquire, shares in, or debentures or other
        securities of, a company; or

   (b)  advance moneys, whether by way of loan or otherwise, to a company,
        being a company that is, for the purposes of the Companies Ordinance
        1962, a subsidiary of the Authority.
