AUSTRALIAN BICENTENNIAL AUTHORITY ACT 1980 No. 49 of 1980 - SECT 8

Appointment of senior officers of Authority 
8. Notwithstanding sub-section 132 (2) of the Companies Ordinance 1962, the
appointment of-

   (a)  the chief executive officer of the Authority, whether designated
        General Manager of the Authority or in some other manner;

   (b)  a Deputy General Manager of the Authority; or

   (c)  the Secretary of the Authority, is subject to the approval of the
        Chairman.
