Australian Broadcasting Corporation (Transitional Provisions and Consequential Amendments) Act 1983 No. 7 of 1983 - SECT 6

6. On the commencing day, the Chairman, the Vice-Chairman and the other
Commissioners of the Australian Broadcasting Commission who held office
immediately before that day cease to hold office, but the corporate identity
of the body corporate referred to in sub-section 5 (1) of the Australian 
Broadcasting Corporation Act 1983 is preserved.
