AUSTRALIA-JAPAN FOUNDATION ACT 1976 No. 18 of 1976 - SECT 8

PART III-CONSTITUTION AND MEETINGS OF FOUNDATION
8. (1) The Foundation-

   (a)  is a body corporate, with perpetual succession;

   (b)  shall have a common seal; and

   (c)  may sue and be sued under its corporate name.

(2) All courts, judges and persons acting judicially shall take judicial
notice of the common seal of the Foundation affixed to a document and presume
that it was duly affixed.
