Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry Selection Committee Act 1984 No. 59 of 1984 - SECT 14

14. (1) If a member referred to in paragraph 11 (1) (b), (c) or (d) ceases to
hold office before the expiration of the period for which he was appointed,
the Minister may appoint as a member for the remainder of that period a person
nominated in accordance with whichever of sub-sections 11 (4), (5) and (6)
applied to the nomination of the member who has ceased to hold office.

(2) If the Chairman ceases to hold office before the expiration of the period
for which he was appointed, the Minister may appoint a person to be Chairman
for the remainder of that period.
