AUSTRALIAN WAR MEMORIAL ACT 1980 No. 104 of 1980 - SECT 14
Termination of appointment
14. (1) The Governor-General may terminate the appointment of an appointed
member by reason of the misbehaviour or physical or mental incapacity of that
member.
(2) If an appointed member-
(a) becomes bankrupt, applies to take the benefit of any law for the
relief of bankrupt or insolvent debtors, compounds with his creditors
or makes an assignment of his remuneration for their benefit;
(b) is absent, except on leave granted by the Council, from 3 consecutive
meetings of the Council otherwise than on business of the Council
undertaken with the approval of the Council; or
(c) fails to comply with his obligations under section 16, the
Governor-General shall terminate the appointment of that member.
