AUSTRALIAN WAR MEMORIAL ACT 1980 No. 104 of 1980 - SECT 36

36. (1) It is hereby declared that the Memorial is a public authority to which
Division 3 of Part XI of the Audit Act 1901 applies.

(2) Division 3 of Part XI of the Audit Act 1901 applies in relation to the
Memorial subject to the modifications contained in this section.

(3) The first report to be prepared by the Memorial in pursuance of section
63M of the Audit Act 1901, shall be prepared as soon as practicable after 30
June 1981 and shall relate to the period commencing on the date of
commencement of this Act and ending on 30 June 1981.
