BANKRUPTCY AMENDMENT ACT 1985 No. 21 of 1985 - SECT 20

20. Section 64 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting paragraph (2) (a)
and substituting the following paragraph:



"(a) subject to paragraph (b), the period of 28 days immediately succeeding-

        (i)    in a case where the bankrupt becomes bankrupt on a creditor's
               petition or by virtue of a sequestration order under Division 6
               of Part IV or under Part X-

                (A)  the day on which the statement of the bankrupt's affairs
                     is filed under section 54; or

                (B)  if no statement of the bankrupt's affairs is filed under
                     section 54, the last day on which such a statement could
                     have been filed in compliance with that section; or

        (ii)   in a case where the bankrupt becomes bankrupt by virtue of the
               presentation of a debtor's petition-the date of bankruptcy;
               or".
