BOUNTY (TRACTOR CABS) AMENDMENT ACT 1984 No. 111 of 1984 - SECT 3

3. Section 3 of the Principal Act is amended-
(a) by omitting "heat-treated" from paragraph (b) of the definition of

"bountiable cab";
(b) by omitting "9 June 1984" from the definition of "bounty period" and
substituting "the relevant day"; and

   (c)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:



"(2) For the purposes of the definition of 'bounty period' in sub-section (1),
the relevant day shall be taken to be 31 December 1984 or such other day, not
being a day later than 30 June 1985, as is fixed by the Minister for the
purposes of this sub-section-

   (a)  if the day so fixed is earlier than 31 December 1984-by notice
        published in the Gazette on or before the day so fixed; or

   (b)  if the day so fixed is later than 31 December 1984-by notice published
        in the Gazette on or before 31 December 1984.".
