BOUNTY (INJECTION-MOULDING EQUIPMENT) AMENDMENT ACT 1985 No. 20 of 1985 - SECT 9

9. (1) Section 15 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section
is substituted: Appointment of authorized officers

"15. (1) The Minister may, by writing signed by the Minister, appoint-

   (a)  a specified officer;

   (b)  the officer for the time being holding, or performing the duties of, a
        specified office; or

   (c)  officers included in a specified class of officers, to be an
        authorized officer, or authorized officers, for the purposes of this
        Act.

"(2) In sub-section (1), 'officer' means an officer of the Department.".

(2) A person who was, immediately before the day on which this section came
into operation, an authorized person for the purposes of the Principal Act as
in force immediately before that day, shall, for the purposes of the Principal
Act as in force after the commencement of this section, be deemed to have been
appointed on that day as an authorized officer under section 15 of the
Principal Act as so amended.
