BARLEY RESEARCH ACT 1980 No. 168 of 1980 - SECT 22

22. (1) For the purposes of this Act, there shall be a Barley Industry
Research Committee for each State other than Tasmania.

(2) The functions of a State Committee are-

   (a)  to consult with the Council for the purpose of achieving co-operation,
        and avoiding duplication, in research in relation to which moneys are
        to be expended under this Act; and

   (b)  to give approvals for the purposes of sub-section 13 (3).
