BARLEY RESEARCH ACT 1980 No. 168 of 1980 - SECT 37

Regulations
37. The Governor-General may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act,
prescribing all matters that are required or permitted by this Act to be
prescribed or are necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or
giving effect to this Act or for facilitating the collection or recovery of
amounts of levy or penalty and, in particular-

   (a)  providing for the manner of payment of levy;

   (b)  requiring the keeping of records in respect of barley by growers and
        purchasers of barley and by such other persons (if any) as are
        specified in the regulations;

   (c)  requiring growers and purchasers of barley and such other persons (if
        any) as are specified in the regulations to furnish returns for the
        purposes of this Act; and

   (d)  prescribing penalties not exceeding a fine of $500 for offences
        against the regulations.
