CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 No. 109 of 1989 - SECT 1294

1294. (1) The Board shall not:

   (a)  cancel of suspend the registration of a person as an auditor, as a
        liquidator or as a liquidator of a specified body corporate; or

   (b)  deal with a person in any of the ways mentioned in subsection 1292
        (9); unless the Board has given the person an opportunity to appear at
        a hearing held by the Board and to make submissions to, and adduce
        evidence before, the Board in relation to the matter.

(2) Where subsection (1) requires the Board to give a person an opportunity to
appear at a hearing and to make submissions to, and bring evidence before, the
Board in relation to a matter, the Board shall give the Commission an
opportunity to appear at the hearing and to make submissions to, and bring
evidence before, the Board in relation to the matter.
