CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 No. 109 of 1989 - SECT 132

132. (1) This section applies where, as at the beginning of a Division 2
company's registration day, an act or thing has been validly done by or in
relation to the company under, or for the purposes of, a law corresponding to
a provision of Chapter 5 (other than Part 5.2).

(2) On and after the registration day, this Act (other than this Division)
applies in relation to the company, with such modifications as the
circumstances require, as if:

   (a)  the company had been a company, and this Act had been in operation, at
        the time when that act or thing was so done; and

   (b)  that act or thing had been validly done at that time under or for the
        purposes of that provision of that Chapter.

(3) Nothing in this section makes a person guilty of a contravention of this
Act in respect of an act or thing done, or an omission made, when the company
was not a company.
