CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 No. 109 of 1989 - SECT 163

Application of certain State and Territory laws
163. (1) Despite the foreign companies law of a State or Territory, a company
may carry on business in any State or Territory.

(2) Except as expressly provided in this Act, nothing in this Act is intended
to exclude or limit the application, in relation to a company, of a law of a
State or Territory, in so far as that law is capable of so applying
concurrently with this Act.
