CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 No. 109 of 1989 - SECT 417

417. Except so far as the contrary intention appears, this Part applies in
relation to a receiver of property of a corporation who is appointed after the
commencement of this section, even if the appointment arose out of a
transaction entered into, or an act or thing done, before that commencement.
