CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 No. 109 of 1989 - SECT 714

714. (1) The Commission may, on the application of a person who is required to
give a notice under this Part, extend, or further extend, the period for
giving the notice.

(2) An application for an extension under subsection (1) may be made, and the
power of the Commission under that subsection may be exercised,
notwithstanding that the period referred to in that subsection has ended.
