CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 No. 109 of 1989 - SECT 85

85. A regulation made for the purposes of subparagraph (g) (ii) of the
definition of "participation interest" in section 9 does not apply to an
agreement or a class of agreements relating to a partnership:

   (a)  being a partnership for the carrying on of a profession or trade where
        a person carrying on that profession or trade is required by an
        Australian law to be registered, licensed or otherwise authorised in
        order to do so; and

   (b)  the business of which does not include any business other than the
        business of a partnership referred to in paragraph (a).
