CORPORATIONS ACT 1989 No. 109 of 1989 - SECT 994

994. Without prejudice to its effect apart from this section, this Part also
has the effect that it would have if any reference in this Part, and in any
other provision of this Act in the application of that provision in relation
to or for the purposes of this Part, to a corporation were a reference to the
holding company of:

   (a)  a foreign corporation;

   (b)  a trading corporation formed within the limits of the Commonwealth;

   (c)  a body corporate that is incorporated in a Territory or an excluded
        Territory;

   (d)  a banking corporation;

   (e)  an insurance corporation; or

   (f)  a company.
