CORPORATIONS ACT 2001 No. 50, 2001 - SECT 1111

Occupation need not appear in transfer document, register etc.

(1) A document transferring marketable securities or marketable rights need not state the occupation of the transferor or transferee and, if the document is signed by a person, the signature need not be witnessed. (2) Subsection (1) applies despite anything in:

(a)
the constitution of an eligible body; or

(b)
the terms and conditions on which marketable securities or marketable rights are created or issued.

(3) The omission from a register, certificate or other document relating to marketable securities of a statement of the occupation of a person who is, or is entitled to be, registered as the holder of the securities does not breach any law, constitution, trust deed or other document relating to the securities.
