Copyright Amendment Act 1983 No. 80 of 1983 - SECT 5

5. Section 107 of the Principal Act is amended-

   (a)  by omitting from sub-section (5) ''are delivered, with the consent of
        the National Librarian, to the National Library'' and substituting
        ''are delivered, with the consent of the Director-General of the
        Australian Archives, to the Australian Archives''; and

   (b)  by adding at the end thereof the following sub-section:

''(6) The Director-General of the Australian Archives shall not consent to the
delivery to the Australian Archives in accordance with sub-section (5) of a
copy of a sound recording unless he has certified that the recording is of an
exceptional documentary character.''.
