CHILDREN'S COMMISSION ACT 1975 No. 51 of 1975 - SECT 35

Regulations.
35. The Governor-General may make regulations, not inconsistent with this Act,
prescribing all matters that are required or permitted by this Act to be
prescribed or are necessary or convenient to be prescribed for carrying out or
giving effect to this Act and, in particular-

   (a)  making provision for and in relation to the procedure in relation to
        inquiries conducted by the Commission, including provision for and in
        relation to the giving of evidence before, and the production of
        documents and articles to, the Commission, and the summoning of
        persons to appear before the Commission to give evidence and to
        produce documents and articles;

   (b)  making provision with respect to the terms and conditions of
        appointment of persons to a Children's Commission Advisory Board; and

   (c)  prescribing penalties, by way of fines not exceeding $100, for
        offences against the regulations.
