CHILD CARE PAYMENTS ACT 1997 No. 195 of 1997 - SECT 170
Children in respect of whom emergency child care assistance is not payable
(1) ECA is not payable in respect of child care provided for a child:
(a) who
is under the care (however described) of a person under a child welfare law of
a State or Territory; or
(b) who is a member of a class of children specified in the guidelines for
the purposes of this section.
(2) The guidelines may specify laws of a State or Territory that are to be
child welfare laws for the purposes of subsection (1).
