CHILD CARE PAYMENTS ACT 1997 No. 195 of 1997 - SECT 238
Offences--offering to supply protected information
(1) A person is guilty of an offence if the person:

committed whether or not any protected information is actually
supplied.
Penalty: Imprisonment for 2 years.
Note: Chapter 2 of the
Criminal Code sets out the general principles of criminal
responsibility.
(2) A person is guilty of an offence if the person:

(3) Nothing in subsection (1) or (2) renders an * officer acting in the
exercise or performance of his or her duties, functions or powers under this
Act or the Social Security Act 1991 guilty of an offence.
