Commonwealth Electoral Legislation Amendment Act 1983 No. 144 of 1983 - SECT 53

53. Section 72 of the Principal Act is amended by omitting ''the
Commonwealth Electoral Officer for the State'' and substituting ''the
Australian Electoral Officer for the State or Territory''.
