CHRISTMAS ISLAND ADMINISTRATION (MISCELLANEOUS AMENDMENTS) ACT 1984 No. 120 of 1984 - SECT 8

8. Section 4 of the Principal Act is amended-
(a) by inserting in the definition of "Northern Territory" in sub-section
(1) "and the Territory of Christmas Island" after "Islands";
(b) by inserting after the definition of "Approved" in sub-section (1) the
following definition:



" 'Australia' includes the Territory of Cocos (Keeling) Islands and the
Territory of Christmas Island;"; and

   (c)  by adding at the end of sub-section (6) "and to the Territory of
        Christmas Island".
