CRIMES LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1992 No. 164 of 1992 - SECT 29

29. Section 40 of the Principal Act is repealed and the following section is
substituted:

"40. If a person remanded in custody under section 39 is still held in that
custody on the day 2 months after the date of the first of the orders under
section 39 under which the person has been held, the person must be
released.".
