CORPORATE LAW REFORM ACT 1992 No. 210 of 1992 - SECT 172

172. Section 1306 of the Corporations Law is amended:

   (a)  by omitting subsection (5) and substituting the following subsections:

"(4A) The regulations may provide for how up to date the information contained
in an instrument prepared for the purposes of subsection (4) must be.

"(5) If:

   (a)  because of this Law, a book that this Law requires to be kept or
        prepared is prima facie evidence of a matter; and

   (b)  the book, or a part of the book, is kept or prepared by recording or
        storing matters (including that matter) by means of a mechanical,
        electronic or other device; a written reproduction of that matter as
        so recorded or stored is prima facie evidence of that matter.";

   (b)  by omitting from subsection (6) "matters" (first occurring) and
        substituting "a matter";

   (c)  by omitting from subsection (6) "those matters" and substituting "that
        matter".
