COMPANIES (ACQUISITION OF SHARES) ACT 1980 No. 64 of 1980 - SECT 10

10. (1) This Act applies to and in relation to all natural persons, whether
resident in the Territory or in Australia or not and whether Australian
citizens or not, and to all bodies corporate or unincorporate, whether
incorporated or carrying on business in the Territory or in Australia or not,
and extends to acts done or omitted to be done outside the Territory, whether
in Australia or not.
(2) Nothing in sub-section (1) extends the definition of "company" in
section 6 so as to include a body corporate that is not incorporated in the
Territory.
