COMPANIES (ACQUISITION OF SHARES) ACT 1980 No. 64 of 1980 - SECT 3

3. The object of this Act is to regulate the acquisition of shares in
companies incorporated in the Australian Capital Territory and this Act has
effect, and shall be construed, accordingly.
