CHILD SUPPORT (ASSESSMENT) ACT 1989 No. 124 of 1989 - SECT 126

126. (1) If the court makes an order under section 124, the court must:

   (a)  give reasons for:

        (i)    making the order; and

        (ii)   the statement or statements included in the order under
               section  125 ; and

   (b)  cause the reasons to be entered in the records of the court.

(2) Subsection (1) does not apply in relation to an order made by consent.

(3) A contravention of subsection (1) in relation to an order does not affect
the validity of the order.
