DISABILITY DISCRIMINATION ACT 1992 No. 135 of 1992 - SECT 107
Failure to provide actuarial data or statistical data
107.(1) If a person has engaged in an act of discrimination that would, apart
from section 46, be unlawful, the Commissioner or the Commission may, by
notice in writing served on the person as prescribed, require the person
within 28 days after service of the notice on the person, to disclose to the
Commissioner or to the Commission, as the case may be, the source of the
actuarial or statistical data on which the act of discrimination was based
and, where the Commissioner or the Commission, as the case may be, makes such
a requirement of a person, the person must not, without reasonable excuse,
fail to comply with the requirement. Penalty: $1,000.
(2) Subsection 4K(2) of the Crimes Act 1914 does not apply to this section.
