Defence Act 1903 1 Paragraph 17(2)(ba) Omit "colonel", substitute "Major". 2
After subsection 120A(1) Insert:

(1A) The Governor-General may, by written instrument, delegate to the Chief of
the Defence Force or to the Chief of Army all or any of his or her powers
under section 10B.
Naval Defence Act 1910 3 Paragraph 13(2)(ba) Omit "captain", substitute
"Lieutenant-Commander". 4 After subsection 44B(1) Insert:

(1A) The Governor-General may, by written instrument, delegate to the Chief of
the Defence Force or to the Chief of Navy all or any of his or her powers
under section 13A.
