DEFENCE LEGISLATION AMENDMENT ACT 1989 No. 41 of 1989 - SECT 2

2. (1) Subject to this section, this Act commences on the day on which it
receives the Royal Assent.

(2) Sections 4 and 5 are to be taken to have commenced on 2 May 1989.

(3) Section 7 is to be taken to have commenced on 6 December 1988.

(4) Section 8 commences, or is to be taken to have commenced, immediately
after the commencement of section 18 of the Defence Legislation Amendment Act 
(No. 2) 1988 .
