Director of Public Prosecutions Act 1983 No. 113 of 1983 - SECT 27

27. (1) The staff of the Office shall be persons appointed or employed under
the Public Service Act 1922.

(2) The Director has all the powers of, or exercisable by, a Permanent Head
under the Public Service Act 1922, so far as those powers relate to the branch
of the Australian Public Service comprising the staff referred to in
sub-section (1), as if that branch were a separate Department of the
Australian Public Service.
