DISABILITY SERVICES ACT 1986 No. 129 of 1986 - SECT 25
Arrangements for provision of rehabilitation programs
25. (1) The Secretary may enter into an arrangement with a person under which
the Secretary may, on behalf of the Commonwealth, provide, or arrange for the
provision of, a rehabilitation program for that person or for such person, or
persons included in such class of persons, as is specified in the arrangement.
(2) An arrangement under sub-section (1) shall contain provision for the
payment to the Commonwealth of the cost, as determined by the Secretary, of
and incidental to, the rehabilitation program or rehabilitation programs
provided under the arrangement or such part of that cost (if any) as the
Secretary, having regard to the circumstances of a particular case, directs.
(3) Section 21 does not apply to the provision of a rehabilitation program
pursuant to an arrangement under sub-section (1).
(4) Section 22 does not apply in relation to a person for whom a
rehabilitation program is provided pursuant to an arrangement under
sub-section (1).
(5) Sections 23 and 24 do not apply in relation to a person for whom a
rehabilitation program is provided pursuant to an arrangement under
sub-section (1) except in so far as the Secretary otherwise directs.
