PART IV-STAFF AND CONSULTANTS

22. (1) Subject to sections 23 and 24, the staff required to assist the
Council in the performance of its functions shall be persons appointed or
employed under the Public Service Act 1922.

(2) The members of the staff referred to in sub-section (1) shall perform
their functions and duties in accordance with the directions of the Council or
of a person (if any) appointed by the Council, by resolution, to be its
representative for the purposes of this sub-section.

(3) The Council may, by resolution, revoke an appointment under sub-section
(2).
